CSEMnext: Co-development in micro-electronics

Banner CSEMnext Allschwil

The manufacturing of springs for industrial applications, such as train suspensions, is traditionally a conventional business. Integrating digital solutions for After Sales Services is not an obvious move in this sector.

Nevertheless, Federnfabrik Schmid AG sought new business opportunities and partnered with CSEM to develop an innovative monitoring device for its springs. CEO and owner Albert Enste will share the story behind this collaboration and its impact on the company.

Guillaume Noel from CSEM will present how our technology and innovation center can support the industry to innovate and navigate through the "innovation valley of death" in AI-driven micro-electronics and vision systems.
