The “Sustainable Energy” Business Unit based in Neuchâtel is currently looking for a Battery Technology Transfert Specialist
Your mission
To reinforce marketing, acquisition, and sales in the field of sustainable energy with a focus on battery storage (next-generation battery, optimization of battery lifetime, etc.). In this role, you will manage the business opportunities pipeline in evaluating market, prospecting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts, while maintaining trustful relationships with our customers in Switzerland and worldwide.
Your responsabilities
Technology transfer: prospect and proactively generate leads via conferences, events, networking, B2B, etc.; initiate customer contacts and develop trustful relationships; develop business proposals aligned with the strategy and mission of the Battery Innovation Hub (BIH), build and drive technology transfer or development project proposals in close collaboration with the BIH group leaders. Harness internal resources to deliver attractive win-win proposals.
Marketing: analyze market trends and opportunities; assess BIH technology offer and propose adaptations; support marketing content and help prepare events for advertising CSEM technologies.
Sales: manage the sales pipeline to meet the sales performance targets, provide accurate forecasts, manage our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and support in negotiating contracts.
Your profile
Knowledge
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (electrical engineering, material science, etc.)
- At least 3 years of experience in the battery industry (e.g. cells, modules, BMS, etc.);
- Experience in technology transfer, project acquisition, and writing of project proposals or offers
- Education in business administration, marketing, or innovation management is a plus
- Proficiency with customer relations management and social media channels
- Customer- and results-oriented with the capacity to transform opportunities into business
Interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills in different market segments and with different job levels
- Excellent listening and negotiating skills
- Capacity to facilitate effective collaboration with internal and external partners
- Fluency in French and English is a must, fluency in German is desired
