Photonics is one of fastest evolving technologies with great significance for a wide range of high-tech industries in Switzerland, ranging from medtech and life sciences to precision manufacturing. It is also a key enabling technology for the strategically vital communication infrastructure and crucial to both quantum computing and cryptography.

Our Key-Note speaker Prof. Hatice Altug and Dr. Bert Jan Offrein will explain how photonics is enabling new applications in medical diagnostics as well as neuromorphic computing!
