Internship
Internship position in optical spectroscopy for life science applications
Facing the challenges of our time
Help us grow and be more impactful! We are looking for a passionate person who wants to co-develop products for biotech and life science applications.
Monitoring of bioanalytes, such as glucose, is a crucial factor for the optimization of cell culture growth conditions and cell viability control in life science applications. It is vital for cell health that glucose levels are maintained within a certain range during cell growth. That is particularly relevant for cultures used for biopharmaceutical production, regenerative therapies, organ cultures, and personalized tissue engineering.
Our team of engineers at CSEM is developing a spectroscopic monitoring system for real-time detection of bioanalytes in cell culture bioreactors and organ-on-a-chip devices. The system has been developed and tested for commercialization in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.
The internship should last 6 months and can be part of a bachelor's or master's thesis.
